Mission
The Fraternity Alumni Council of Texas (FACT) is a voluntary association of the several fraternities on the University of Texas at Austin campus which seeks to align fraternity goals and a positive partnership with the university community and the broader Austin community while providing a united voice supportive of over 130 years of fraternity tradition in Austin. The organization will strive to promote academic achievement, leadership development, philanthropic endeavors, civility, and the health and safety of the fraternity members and guests.

SPIRIT AND CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT
Ninety percent of fraternity men belong to at least one additional campus organization, academic society or student club beyond fraternity membership.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Fraternities offer leadership development opportunities within their organizations in addition to encouraging their men to become in involved campus initiatives.
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Fraternities hold members to academic standards. The All IFC GPA average for spring 2018 was 3.273, slightly exceeding the All University Men GPA average of 3.256.
ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT
Texas Fraternities have thousands of Alumni with great allegiance to UT and to their respective fraternities, giving back to the UT community. Actor Matthew McConaughey is a proud Delta Tau Delta.
PHILANTHROPY AND COMMUNITY SERVICE
Each fraternity hosts or partners with other fraternities, sororities and nonprofit groups to give back to the campus and the Austin community by raising funds and donating thousands of man hours.
